I've never seen Breaking Bad

I don't know who Henry Cavill is,

I could not care less about 

Meaghan and Harry's latest royal tiff.

I refuse to watch TV ads

I think they're poison,

and the reason 

Americans' brains

have turned to custard.

I think Facebook 

is a total disaster,

I've never even looked 

at TikTok, 

it's all too much for me.

I don't think either 

Steve Jobs or Elon Musk

are geniuses,

or that technology is 

synonymous with progress.

But I know what phase 

the Moon is in (waning gibbous),

and I know that the bees love 

the verbena out back.

I know it was 118º

in Siberia the other day,

and that the crows fly 

west to go 

home at sunset.

And I'm quite certain 

no one knows

where we're headed,

or who's watching,

or why.
